Rungnado May Day Stadium, or May Day Stadium, is located in the city of Pyongyang, capital of North Korea, in North West Korea.The stadium was opened on May 1, 1989, and can seat 150,000 spectators.It's scalloped roof features 16 arches arranged in a ring, and is said to resemble a parachute or a Magnolia blossom.The stadium has various training halls, recreation rooms and also an indoor swimming pool.
