Details for Stadio Filadelfia, Turin

Stadium Name:
Stadio Filadelfia
Built:
1926
Capacity:
15000
Description:
This is the stadium where the Grande Torino (The Great Torino) played. They were a big part of Italian football and won numerous cups only for the team to perish in a plane crash at Superga in 1949. Among the victims was Valentino Mazzola, who was the Italian golden boy. Torino moved out and even though the stadium is still there, it is sadly falling apart.
