Frankenstadion, also known as the 'Easycredit Stadion' is a muilti purpose stadium located in Nuremburg, it is used for footbal and athletics and home to German football (soccer) team '1. FC Nuremberg' who have been playing there sincve 1960. The stadium was built in 1928 and holds a total of 47,000 for national events and 44,308 for international matches. The stadium was used as a venue for the 2006 FIFA World Cup hosting a total of five games. The stadium held 41,000 spectators for those events and every game played was a sell-out. Frankenstadion
