Description:
St. Georges Hall is located in Lime Street in the city centre of Liverpool. This neo-classical building is the finest in europe and was opened in September 1854. With its splendid chandellers and gilded plasterwork it is one of the best assembley halls in Britain. St Georges Hall hosts various exhibitions, sporting events and musical concerts. In May 2006, it hosted the inaugral Liverpool Open Squash tournament.
