Description

Nethermoor Park is located in Guiseley, Nethermoor Park. Since 1909, the ground was the home of Guiseley A.F.C., a local soccer team. There used to be three stands, one of which was seated, and the other two were terraced stands. The total capacity of the football stadium used to be 3,000.

In 2015, Guiseley A.F.C was promoted to the National League, and that is why the capacity of the ground was decided to be increased to pass the higher requirements. The total capacity of the stadium was increased up to 4,000 seats. The expansion also involved constructing three new terraces and covering all of the stadium’s sides. About 250 thousand pounds were spent on redevelopment, which also included improvements of toilets, barriers, and turnstiles. The redevelopment was completed in the spring of 2016.

The highest attendance at the stadium was 2,486 during the game between FA Vase and Bridlington Town in 1989. After the improvements of the stadium were completed, they were checked by inspectors. As a result, Nethermoor Park was recommended to be given Grade A status.
