Description:
Belle Vue, former home of Doncaster Rovers, looked like a typical non-league ground of old. Problem was - Doncaster were back in the league again. Hmm... perhaps a couple of coats of paint were needed to say the least. Most of the stadium was terraced, with a few seats in the main stand. In early 2007 just after the team moved to the new Keepmoat Stadium, there was a gas explosion in the main stand. The damage was so extensive that the whole stand had to be demolished for safety reasons.
