The Strahov Stadium is located in the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, Prague, on the banks of the Vitava River.It is the largest stadium in the world, seating nearly 250,000.Construction of the stadium started in 1926, with the stadium being built out of wood, and was replaced with cement grandstands in 1932.There was further construction in 1948 and 1975.The playing area as eight football pitches, and is 63,500 square metres in size.
