PFC Levski Sofia, a Bulgarian soccer team play their home fixtures at the 'Georgi Asparuhov Stadium' named after a famous Bulgarian football player who died in a car accident in 1971.
The stadium is located in the district of Sofia Podujane, and has a total capacity of 29,800 spectators.
Levski Sofia were established on May 24, 1914, by a group of students from 2nd male secondary school in Sofia, and within 10 years they established themselves as the most popular club not only in Sofia, but in Bulgaria as well.
The record attendance at the Georgi Asparuhov Stadium was set at 60,000 numerous times, although most famously during the European Cup quarter final between Levski Sofia and Polish side Górnik Zabrze.
